Postage
All items are posted within 3 days of ordering from Wellington, New Zealand. All orders are posted with tracked courier. Cold Wave does not take responsibility for lost packages - a refund can be issued to the customer only after it has been investigated and refunded from the courier company to Cold Wave.

Warranty

Cold Wave hopes that you will get a long life out of your suit. To ensure this, you will be provided with repairs on all seams and on any manufacturing faults, up to six months from purchase. This does not include general wear and tear, or if the wetsuit was sized too small. If we cannot offer repairs under warranty, we aim to support the repair process rather than the replacement/ landfill option.

Returns and exchanges
Cold Wave will try our best to present each item in a clear and transparent way, although we understand buying online is different to in-store. Because of this we offer a refund or exchange on full priced items - minus any shipping costs. To return an item, it must be in original condition, unused, unwashed and with all hang tags attached.

To make a return or exchange please email coldwavewetsuits@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving your purchase to arrange return postage. Once the item has been returned to Cold Wave you will receive your refund. For any further queries please email: coldwavewetsuits@gmail.com

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, first contact us at coldwavewetsuits@gmail.com. Then we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Manufacturing
Cold Wave wetsuits are made in Mainland China by a manufacturer we've had a consistent working relationship with. We aim to visit in-person once international travel becomes safe to do so and we look forward to surfing there too. While we stand behind the quality and relationship of our current manufacturer, we are remain interested in and open to manufacturing options closer to home.
